Sapphire

Color: Any color, mostly blue 

Information: Large sapphires almost have the same value as a small diamond. Valuable sapphires called the star sapphires reflect light in starlike ways. Long ago, the best sapphires were found in Northern India. Currently, the best sapphires are found in Burma amd Thailand. Sapphires from Sri Lanka are often pale. Ausralian sapphires are deep blue color in natural light, but seems to be black in artificial light and have less value than Kashmir stones because of this.
